Here’s all that you can order with your Vivint smart system
Unlike most security companies, Vivint’s automation and security offerings are a great choice renters. Here are a few of the more popular sensors and services:
Motion alarms and glass break sensors can notify you when an uninvited visitor breaks into your apartment or rental house. Get an alert to your phone when an device trips, or arm and disarm your components remotely to let in maintenance or guests when you’re not home.
Fire and safety detectors
Smoke detectors usually come standard with your rental, but probably not other safety sensors. Place a wireless carbon monoxide detector or flood alarm to warn you and Vivint’s monitoring agents to danger before it’s too late.
HD security cameras
HD security cameras may be wirelessly put up so you can keep an eye on kids or living rooms. A doorbell camera allows you view -- and speak to -- visitors at the door. Get real-time HD feeds and notifications about suspicious movement through the Vivint App.
A big benefit of choosing Vivint is the monitoring team that respond to triggered alarms. If a component trips, your monitoring experts quickly calls you to see if you’re in a safe location. Then they’ll call the fire or police departments.
Home automation components
Smart devices, such as smart bulbs, can be installed to make your rental more energy-efficient. Some devices like a replacement thermostat or smart door locks may need prior landlord approval.
The Vivint App
Your Lakeland security system can be controlled anywhere with the Vivint App. See HD camera feeds, remotely arm and disarm devices, or set times for alarms and lights. Then get notifications to your smartphone if a device triggers or a security camera sees a suspected lurker.
